January 12, 2010 Update

A memorandum from our attorneys to all the plaintiffs in this case is going out in the mail today.  This memo does not require you to take any action.  It just provides our attorneys perspective on Judge Jones’ ruling and the strategy for moving forward.

If for some reason you do not receive it in a reasonable time, please contact the liaison committee via email at beachtaxes@gmail.com and provide your current address.  Always identify yourself and the address of your leasehold on the Beach in any correspondence.

Please not that the memo indicates that the attorneys do not anticipate requesting additional funds at this time.  You can help to preserve our resources by directing your questions to the liaison committee at beachtaxes@gmail.com or by calling a member at the numbers listed on the home page of this web site.  Any questions that they can not answer will be referred to a member of the law firm.

Danny Kepner from Shell, Fleming, Davis & Menge will be a guest at the next meeting of the Pensacola Beach Advocates on Thursday, January 28st.  The meeting will be held at the Pensacola Beach Community Church Fellowship Hall on Via de Luna at Avenida 18, beginning at 6 pm.

The other topic on the agenda for the January 28th PBA meeting is a review of the options for the Beach master plan.  This meeting is open to members of Pensacola Beach Advocates and prospective members (residents, leaseholders and those with a business interest on Pensacola Beach).  Additional information available at www.pbadvocates.org
